How to check whether employment relations are declared

Electronic employment book is a digital analogue of a paper employment book. It was introduced in order to improve accounting of labor activities of Ukrainians, reduce paper document circulation and related risks of document loss or damage. 

Also, modern system will allow employees to check their insurance history at any time, and in the future - to automatically retire without visiting the Pension fund.

From now on, every employer is obliged to provide information about labor activities of their employees in the electronic format. In particular, make records of hiring, transfer or dismissal, military service and other events that were previously recorded in the paper form.

By law, employees and employers have five years to digitize employment records. After checking data by the Pension fund of Ukraine and entering them into the Register of insured persons of the State register of obligatory state social insurance, final version of the electronic employment book will be created. Since then, paper version will be unnecessary and can be kept by employee or kept in parallel with the electronic version, if employee wishes so.

To find the electronic employment book, it is needed to log in to personal account on the electronic services portal of the Pension fund of Ukraine.
