Team of the State Tax Service took part in a practical seminar on the transfer pricing and administrative cooperation with the VAT

Team of the State Tax Service took part in a week-long practical seminar on the topic: "Transfer pricing and administrative cooperation with the VAT" within the framework of project of the Eastern Partnership Academy of Public Administration, at invitation of the Republic of Poland.

Specialists from tax services of Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia exchanged experience on the specifics of implementation of procedure for concluding advance pricing agreements (APAs), shared methodology of checking transfer prices, considered practical cases regarding operations with intangible assets, financial operations and intragroup services.

In the context of movement of Ukraine and other countries participating in seminar to the European Union, peculiarities of administrative cooperation of bodies of the EU countries in a counteraction against fraud in the VAT sphere, detection and counteraction of the "carousel" fraudulent schemes with a help of available tools and databases were considered.

In conditions of development of information technologies and rapid information processing, special attention was paid to the exchange of tax information on request and automated exchange.

In addition, experts from the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland and experts conducted practical classes for participants on ethics in public service and combating corruption at the national level.

State Tax Service appreciates support of the Ministry of Finance, National Revenue Administration and the National School of Public Administration of the Republic of Poland and expresses its gratitude for organization and holding of such event.
