Consolidated budget received 1 213.6 billion UAH in 2023

Taxpayers continue to support our state in difficult war times by dutifully paying taxes. Thanks to their responsible citizenship and patriotism, budget steadily receives such necessary funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and social payments to our citizens.

Revenues (balance) to the consolidated budget for payments controlled by the State Tax Service amounted to 1 213.6 billion UAH in 2023 according to operational data. State budget received 783.6 billion UAH, local budgets – 430 billion UAH. 

Revenues (balance) to the general fund of the state budget amounted to 740.1 billion UAH in 2023. Scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine for revenues of the general fund of the state budget were fulfilled by 100.7%. Herewith, 132.4 billion UAH of the VAT was reimbursed to payers’ accounts.     

In terms of taxes, scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine were exceeded from the corporate income tax by 29.9% (+33.1 billion UAH), excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) by 15.9% (+14.2 billion UAH). 

In terms of main payments in 2023, the increase compared to the corresponding period of previous year is from the levy and personal income tax by 18.6% (+27.6 billion UAH), corporate income tax by 22.9% (+26.8 billion UAH) and excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) by 1.3 times (+25 billion UAH).

Local budgets received 430 billion UAH in 2023, which is 37.3 billion UAH or 9.5 % more than in 2022.
