Representatives of the State Tax Service and Office of Technical Assistance of the US Treasury Department discussed implementation of joint projects

State Tax Service of Ukraine and Office of Technical Assistance of the US Treasury Department continue to implement joint projects. Today, during working meeting of acting Head of the State Tax Service Tetiana Kiriienko and OTA representatives Phil Brand and Don Mainwaring discussed current directions of cooperation and state of implementation of the Work Plan for 2022-2024, which provides for a number of measures to improve tax administration, in particular, implementation of the СRM.

"Experience of cooperation between the State Tax Service and Office of Technical Assistance has a positive effect on the Service’s work and allows us to implement radical, progressive changes and transform the State Tax Service into a modern, highly efficient organization. Thanks to the entire OTA team for their expert support and help. Implementation of all joint initiatives is very important for citizens of Ukraine" – emphasized acting Head of the State Tax Service Tetiana Kiriienko.

She noted that cooperation is carried out in many directions, which contributes to the improvement of tax administration approaches and introduction of new opportunities in service of taxpayers.

Focus of attention is tax compliance, which is important in the context of experimental project on functioning of tax risk management system (compliance-risks) in the State Tax Service, which was recently approved by a Government resolution.

Meeting participants determined steps for further implementation of joint projects and the possibility of introducing new joint initiatives.
