Tetiana Kiriienko took part in Congress of local and regional authorities under the President of Ukraine from Chernivtsi region

Acting Head of the State Tax Service Tetiana Kiriienko took part in meeting of Congress of local and regional authorities under the President of Ukraine from Chernivtsi region.

Participants discussed a number of matters related to regional development, in particular, administration of local taxes and search for additional sources to fill local budgets.

"State Tax Service is interested in effectively established cooperation with local governments and is always ready to participate in resolving matters that will contribute to the full filling of local budgets. Within its competence, the Tax Service makes every effort to provide high-quality services to the taxpayers and consulting support to business" – stated acting Head of the State Tax Service Tetiana Kiriienko.

Reminder! As of today, according to current legislation, local governments perform a number of functions within the framework of ensuring collection of local taxes: they set rates of local taxes and levies, tax benefits, provide information to controlling authorities regarding concluded land lease agreements, approve list of tax agents for the tourist tax, determine land plots for providing parking for vehicles, etc.
