Ruslan Kravchenko: Tax Service should work for business that pays taxes honestly

Head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Ruslan Kravchenko held the first meeting with heads of territorial departments, defining key tasks of the Service. The main priority is transparency of work and support for responsible business. 

Regarding the personnel matter and reassignments, Ruslan Kravchenko emphasized that the future place of work of each regional head depends solely on the results of work, there are no other criteria and there will be no other. Implementation of plans and budget fulfillment should become the key goal, with monthly increase in indicators.

Ruslan Kravchenko identified cessation of unjustified classification of business entities as risky and blocking of tax invoices as the primary tasks for the entire service.

"Stopping the unjustified classification of invoices as risky and unjustified blocking is our top priority. Regarding blocking, I understand that the system is not working perfectly, so we will try to change it to make it perfect. I ask you to pay special attention to the commissions that make decisions about unblocking or removing risks – today business is screaming that they are demanding some kind of "kickbacks", interest for unblocking. You must, together with me, restore order, monitor work of the commissions so that business understands that Tax Service works for the business that pays taxes honestly" – he added. 

Ruslan Kravchenko also stressed importance of open dialogue with entrepreneurs. Every tax employee should not only explain the reasons for blocking, but also help business to avoid mistakes. 

"We should not create problems, but help solve them within the framework of the law" - concluded  Head of the State Tax Service.
