Excise tax revenues in February increased by almost 90% compared to February last year

For the second month in a row, tendency of increasing excise tax revenues from produced and imported excisable products continues. 15.2 billion UAH of this tax was received by general fund of the state budget in February 2025. This is 88.9% (7.2 billion UAH) more than in February 2024.

Revenue indicator was fulfilled by 153.4%, which allowed transferring additional 5.3 billion UAH to the budget.

Revenue growth factors: 

- excise tax on produced and imported tobacco products – by 5.1 billion UAH or 180.9% of the set target (6.3 billion UAH);

- excise tax on alcoholic beverages produced in Ukraine – by 0.05 billion UAH or 108.7% of the set target (0.6 billion UAH).
