Declaration campaign: more than 3 thousand Ukrainians are official "millionaires"

3186 citizens have already reported income of more than 1 million UAH received in 2024 during January-February. Total amount of income declared by them is 21.8 billion UAH. 

These payers have determined that 269.6 million UAH of the personal income tax and 44.6 million UAH of the military levy will be paid to the budget. 

The youngest "millionaire" is 3.5 years old. His authorized representative declared income in the form of inheritance (receipt as a gift) of property not from family members of the first and second degrees of kinship. 

The oldest "millionaire" is 96-year-old resident of Kyiv who declared income from the alienation of securities.

25 individuals independently declared tax liabilities in the amount of more than 1 million UAH:

6 individuals are residents of Kyiv city,   

4 – Kyiv region,

3 – Transcarpathian,

2 – residents of Sumy and Lviv,

1 – residents of Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Odessa and Kherson regions.

In total, in the first two months of this year, citizens submitted more than 44 thousand tax declarations, resulting in income of 36.2 billion UAH. This is 62% or 13.9 billion UAH more than in the same period last year.

Residents of Kyiv city, Lviv and Dnipropetrovsk regions were the most active in declaring their income.

Declared for payment to the budget:

personal income tax – 436.9 million UAH, which is 15% or 54.5 million UAH more than in the same period last year;

military levy –80.3 million UAH which is 15% or 10.4 million UAH more.

In addition, more than 16 thousand people declared their right to a tax discount, to whom 105.7 million UAH will be returned from the budget.
