Whole and retail sales and processing industry enterprises lead in paying taxes in January – February 2025

For January – February 2025, the biggest share in payment of taxes, levies and payments to the Consolidated budget of Ukraine falls on business entities in the following sectors of economy:

"Whole and retail sales; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles" – 19.3%;

"Processing industry" – 17.6%;

"Public administration and defense; obligatory social insurance" – 13.1%;

"Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply" – 6.2%.

Growth of tax revenues

Compared to the same period last year, in January – February 2025, the biggest increase in tax payments was recorded in the following industries:

"Processing industry" – growth of 48% or +15.8 billion UAH;

"Wholes and retail sales; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles" – growth of 34.7% or +13.8 billion UAH;

"Public administration and defense; obligatory social insurance" – growth of 36.2% or +9.7 billion UAH;

"Professional, scientific and technical activities" – growth of 58.7% or +5.2 billion UAH.
