Ruslan Kravchenko at the meeting in Kharkiv: It is important to take into account specifics of doing business in the wartime

Head of the State Tax Service Ruslan Kravchenko, representatives of the State Tax Service, Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov and almost 50 representatives of business, business associations, and public institutions of Kharkiv region spoke today about systemic problems that currently affect work of business in the front-line territories.

One of the primary questions that concerns entrepreneurs is a realistic level indicator of tax payments.

"Working under daily shelling by the russian aggressor is a reality for business in Kharkiv region. State Tax Service is already working on corrective coefficients that take into account specifics of doing business in hostilities conditions. This will make average industry indicator more realistic" – specified Ruslan Kravchenko. 

He also noted that tax officials continue to work on resolving block of tax invoices and removing enterprises from category of risky ones. To this end, the State Tax Service has created 29 consulting centers that provide comprehensive assistance to business in this question.

"To date, almost 10 thousand entities have already been removed from category of risky entities, 266 of which are in the Kharkiv region. Number of blocked tax invoices decreased to 0.39% as of mid-March. I believe that there is every reason to reduce this indicator to 0.1-0.2%" – emphasized Head of the State Tax Service.

State Tax Service has already submitted suggestions to the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine to change mechanism for suspending registration of tax invoices. Directory of taxpayer risk codes has also been updated.

Activities of the State Tax Service in the Kharkiv region were analyzed during the meeting.

"We have complaints about work of two departments – Excisable product control department and Tax debt department. Next week, structural units of central apparatus, which deal with the anti-corruption and ensuring departmental control, will conduct inspection" – stated Head of the State Tax Service.
