Ruslan Kravchenko: excise revenues exceeded plan by 31% in the first quarter

Excise tax revenues exceeded plan by 31% in the first quarter of this year. This was informed by Head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Ruslan Kravchenko in his Telegram channel.

General fund of the state budget received 38.7 billion UAH of the excise tax on excisable goods produced and imported to the customs territory of Ukraine in January – March. Budget additionally received 9.2 billion UAH (+31%).

Compared to the same period in 2024, the increase is +61.9% (14.8 billion UAH).

Excise tax revenues also exceeded planned figures in March 2025. A total of 14.2 billion UAH (+14.8%) was transferred.

The main growth factor is the excise tax payment on produced and imported tobacco products.

“We continue active measures to combat illegal circulation of excisable products. After all, it is not only about equal business conditions for all participants, but also about preventing losses by the state budget” – added Head of the State Tax Service.
