Ruslan Kravchenko: In the first 5 months of this year, the excise revenues exceeded the last year’s by 48.7%

In the first 5 months of this year, the excise revenues exceeded the last year’s by 48.7%. General fund of the state budget received 69.7 billion UAH of the excise tax on manufactured and imported excisable products in January – May 2025. Last year, this amount was 46.9 billion UAH. This was informed by Head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Ruslan Kravchenko in the Telegram channel.

According to him, in 5 months the budget has already received 11.3 billion UAH (+19.3%) above the plan. 15.3 billion UAH of the excise tax was received in May 2025.

"Over-fulfillment is due to the growth in imports of excisable products, particularly tobacco products. Systematic control over the circulation of excisable products also provides a noticeable result" – added Ruslan Kravchenko.
