Audits in pharmacies and medical facilities: more than 19 million UAH of fines were accrued

Employees of the State Tax Service have conducted 910 audits in the healthcare sector, including pharmacies and other facilities that sell medicines and medical devices since the beginning of 2025. More than 1.7 thousand violations of tax and other legislation have been identified. Amount of fines is 19.1 million UAH.

The most common violations:

- settlement transactions without use of RRO/PRRO and without issuing fiscal check;

- violation of inventory accounting procedure;

- use of the labor of unregistered employees.

Tax officials have compiled reports of administrative offenses against officials of enterprises.

For example:

- LLC’s pharmaceutical warehouse operated without the RRO/PRRO and did not provide all necessary documents for audit in Kyiv region. Amount of the fine is 53.8 thousand UAH;

- in Ivano-Frankivsk region, during audit of pharmacy where individual-entrepreneur operates, violation of inventory accounting procedure was detected. Amount of the fine is 51.8 thousand UAH;

- in Kirovograd region, during inspection of pharmacy, it was detected that the LLC was operating without the RRO/PRRO, violated inventory accounting procedure, and did not provide all necessary documents. Fine is 36.3 thousand UAH.

State Tax Service calls on all business entities in the medical sector to comply with current legislation.
