Lesya Karnaukh: We must, together with other authorities, help everyone who supports economy as much as possible

Work of business in Rivne region, current taxation aspects and new services were discussed today during the meeting between acting Head of the State Tax Service Lesya Karnaukh, State Tax Service’s team and more than 70 entrepreneurs and representatives of business associations in Rivne region. Event was also attended by Head of Rivne Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Koval.

This is the 16th meeting of the State Tax Service’s leadership with regional business, where during open dialogue, the taxpayers have opportunity to get answers to their questions from representatives of the Service. 

“Today, in the face of constant enemy attacks, the State Tax Service faces many challenges and, together with other government bodies, we must help everyone who supports economy as much as possible” – said Lesya Karnaukh. 

She reminded that the taxpayers can contact the Tax consultant offices with all their questions. At the beginning of week, the State Tax Service has opened them in 20 regions. Therefore, to receive quality advice, there is no need to wait for a visit from Kyiv specialists. Everything is as accessible as possible on places. 

Participants, during the meeting, discussed a number of traditional business questions – moratorium on audits, block of tax invoices and removing entities from category of risky entities.

Question that interests many is eExcise. 

According to the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, testing of the full functionality of system will begin in November 2025. For its part, the State Tax Service has taken all necessary organizational measures to ensure that transition to the electronic mark is comfortable for business.

Another important question is introduction of the SAF-T UA. This is one of important steps towards digitalization of tax control, as envisaged by the National Revenue Strategy. 

According to Lesya Karnaukh, during documentary audit regarding the budgetary VAT refunding, specialists of the State Tax Service used the SAF-T UA standard file for the first time in practice and proved its effectiveness. 

Acting Head of the State Tax Service called on the taxpayers to actively introduce this tool, as it saves time and effort for both business and tax authorities.

“Today’s dialogue once again showed that business has a significant demand for quality service from the Tax Service and we must respond in a timely and effective manner” – emphasized Lesya Karnaukh.
