Lesya Karnaukh: almost 35% of tax revenues to the budget were provided by processing industry and trade enterprises in 8 months

The biggest number of payments to the Consolidated budget of Ukraine was made by enterprises of processing industry and trade in January – August 2025. In particular: processing industry – 17.6%, whole and retail trade – 16.7%. This was informed by acting Head of the State Tax Service Lesya Karnaukh on the Facebook page.  

“Almost 35% of tax revenues to the budget were provided by enterprises of processing industry and trade in 8 months. These industries have confidently held the lead since the beginning of year” – stated Lesya Karnaukh. 

Also in the top:

- public administration and defense; obligatory social insurance – 11.6%;

- financial and insurance activities – 10 %.

The greatest dynamics in payments compared to the corresponding period of last year were in the following sectors:

- processing industry – +32.3% (+59.9 billion UAH);

- whole and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles – +29.2% (+52.8 billion UAH);

- state administration and defense; obligatory social insurance – +29.1% (+36.5 billion UAH);

- supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning – +33.1% (+20.9 billion UAH).

“This is a significant contribution to financial stability of the country” – added Lesya Karnaukh.
