Supporting business, particularly farms, during the wartime and providing the most convenient and high-quality tax services are among priorities of the State Tax Service. After all, the budget and ability to strengthen defense capabilities of our state depend on the stable and successful work of business.
This was stated by Deputy Head of the State Tax Service Serhii Lyseiuk during the third All-Ukrainian Farmer forum “How to survive and develop during the war”, organized by the All-Ukrainian congress of farmers in partnership with the international humanitarian organization MERCY CORPS with financial support from the Howard Graham Buffett Foundation.
As Serhii Lyseiuk noted, due to timely tax payments made by the business entities, 949.8 billion UAH was received by general fund of the state budget in 9 months of 2025. In addition, almost 71 billion UAH was collected.
“Payers received refunding totaling 131 billion UAH of the VAT. All applications for budgetary refunding are processed as quickly as possible. After all, we understand specifics of business, including agricultural sector, and importance of having working capital for development” – said Serhii Lyseiuk.
Deputy Head of the State Tax Service focused on the new Service’s analytical tool – dashboard “Tax revenues monitoring”. It allows to track dynamics of tax revenues.
“We will gradually expand functionality of this service and in the future everyone can see their contribution to the total revenues” – Serhii Lyseiuk noted.
He also said that if the farm representatives have any questions about taxation, they can quickly get tax consultation at the Tax Consultant Offices. They were opened in September and are already in demand.
“It is not enough to digitize services and provide administrative ones, business wants live communication, wants specific answers to its problematic questions. As we can already see from results of the Offices’ work, the satisfaction level with service is 97%. By the way, in the Offices it is also possible to get information regarding the transfer pricing, consult and see one’s potential risks” – said Serhii Lyseiuk.
He also said that many individuals are asking about accrual of the land, real estate taxes and the minimum tax liability. These questions can be resolved promptly at the Offices, and accruals can be reconciled.
Among the other discussed questions:
– registration of tax invoices – changes that the State Tax Service has been working on since the beginning of year came into effect since from September 27. In general, since the beginning of year, due to the implemented measures, the State Tax Service has already managed to reduce percentage of suspended invoices from 0.7 to 0.3;
– correctness of filling out the minimum tax liability application – many errors are made in the cadastral numbers;
– entering information about the land use into the register – it is important to promptly make appropriate changes for the correct calculation of tax amounts.
