Ukrainians are most likely declare foreign income and inheritance this year. 36 billion UAH of the foreign income and 15.9 billion UAH of income from the inherited or donated property have been declared since the beginning of year. This was informed by acting Head of the State Tax Service Lesya Karnaukh on the Facebook page.
Also, citizens declared the biggest amounts from:
sale of movable or immovable property – 7.5 billion UAH,
investment income – 6.1 billion UAH,
other taxable income – 4.8 billion UAH,
income from the property renting – 3.7 billion UAH.
Citizens have submitted more than 226 thousand property status and income declarations over the 9 months. A record amount of more than 2 billion UAH of the personal income tax and military levy has been determined as payable by the Kyiv resident.
Annual increase in the number of Ukrainians indicates growth of a culture of transparent declaration. It is primarily about not just another obligatory procedure, but about responsibility and trust.
