Lesya Karnaukh: Taxpayer Service Center, which was damaged as a result of russian attack on the capital, has resumed work

After two months of reconstruction due to damage caused by russian attack on the capital, the Taxpayer Service Center at Zhylyanska street, 23a in Kyiv has resumed work.

The facade was renovated, thanks to the long-time friends from the Global Empowerment Mission Ukraine Foundation, windows were replaced, and modern, accessible and comfortable space was created for every payer.

This was informed by acting Head of the State Tax Service Lesya Karnaukh on the Facebook page

“Enemy is purposefully destroying infrastructure. But the main thing that is not being destroyed is our unity and desire to work for the people. Therefore, we have made every effort to quickly restore it” – Lesya Karnaukh stated.

According to her, at the end of August, during one of the massive attacks by russians in the capital, premises of Main Directorate of the State Tax Service in Kyiv were damaged. Two Taxpayer Service Centers were forced to stop working.

Taxpayer Service Center on Sholudenka street were restored in a few days. Fortunately, damage was minor. And today the second Taxpayer Service Center is back in operation.

“We didn’t just restore the premises – we gave people back the opportunity to receive quality service, advice and assistance. Thank to everyone who got involved – colleagues, union and benefactors. And thank to the taxpayers who, despite all the challenges, continue to pay taxes” emphasized acting Head of the State Tax Service.
