Online sign language translation has been introduced in Kharkiv region for visitors of the Taxpayer Service Centers with hearing impairments

Inclusive service has been introduced in all Taxpayer Service Centers of Kharkiv region – online sign language translation for citizens with hearing impairments.

Special monitors and tablets have been installed in the Taxpayer Service Centers and service points, with a help of which sign language users can receive consultations and administrative services in the remote video communication format with a translator.

Additionally, the Tax Consultant Office is equipped with a text information panel adapted for people with hearing impairments.

To use the new service, a visitor simply needs to contact a moderator at the Taxpayer Service Center, who will promptly connect online translator and ensure comfortable communication with specialists.

Development of a barrier-free environment is one of the key areas of work according to the National strategy for creating a barrier-free space in Ukraine by 2030.
