December 31 is a deadline for submission of full reports by controllers of controlled foreign companies

December 31, 2025 is the last day to submit full Report on controlled foreign companies.

This applies to controllers who have already submitted Report on controlled foreign companies in the abbreviated form for the reporting year2024, but have not yet completed their obligation with a full report.

In 2024, controlling entities submitted more than 20 thousand reports on controlled foreign companies in a shortened form. As of December 29, the obligation to submit full report remains unfulfilled for more than 6 thousand controlled foreign companies.

Due to the constant dialogue of the State Tax Service with taxpayers who are controllers of foreign companies, during 2025, additional 87 million UAH of taxes was received by the budget. They were paid after submitting revised declarations regarding income taxation of controlled foreign companies.

Controlling entities are urged to fulfill their obligation and submit Reports on controlled foreign companies, despite the absence of penalties for violating rules of the controlled foreign companies during the martial law.

Obligation to submit reports on controlled foreign companies is provided for in Article 39² of the Tax Code of Ukraine.
