Declaration campaign – 2026: Ukrainians have already submitted more than 25 thousand declarations

In Ukraine, declaration campaign of income received by citizens in 2025 has been ongoing since January 1. Although not much time has passed since the start, activity of Ukrainians is already noticeable.

More than 25 thousand property status and income declarations have already been submitted during the first month of the campaign. This is 8% more (almost 2 thousand declarations) than during the same period last year.

Ukrainians have already declared 16.7 billion UAH.

Determined as payable to the budget:

- 272.9 million UAH of the personal income tax – 4.5 million UAH (2%) more than the  last year;

- 152.4 million UAH of the military levy – 104.9 million UAH more (increase is due to a change in the levy rate).

The biggest tax liabilities were declared by four citizens from Khmelnytskyi, Kyiv regions and Kyiv city – more than 10 million UAH.

More than 2 thousand citizens declared income of more than 1 million UAH. Total amount of such income is 9.9 billion UAH, of which 177.1 million UAH is the personal income tax and 89.9 million UAH – military levy are determined for payment to the budget.

28 people declared more than 1 million each UAH. Total amount of their tax liabilities is 124.1 million UAH (of which 88.7 million UAH is personal income tax and 35.4 million UAH – military levy).

Where is the most actively declare?

The biggest number of declarations were submitted by residents of:

- Lviv region;

- Dnipropetrovsk region;

- Kharkiv region;

- Odesa region;

- Kyiv city.

Who submits declarations?

Campaign brings together people of all ages:

The youngest declarant is almost 6 years old (declaration was submitted by an authorized person).

The oldest declarant is 93 years old.

The most active are citizens aged:

40 – 50 years – almost 9 thousand declarations;

20 – 40 years – about 8 thousand declarations.

Tax rebate: possibility of refunding

More than 8 thousand citizens declared their right to tax rebate for a total amount of 63.1 million UAH.
