More than 800 employees of the Service and territorial bodies participated in training on the topic "Peculiarities of the barrier-free service for the taxpayers who apply to the tax authorities".
As employees of the State Tax Service noted, the barrier-free access involves creating conditions in which every person - regardless of age, health status or other characteristics has equal access to public services and can receive them quickly and without obstacles.
During the lecture, the Tax Service’s employees were introduced to practical aspects of creating accessible environment, including:
- organizing accessible and convenient workspace;
- principles of the barrier-free and correct communication with visitors;
- preparing documents and memos in simple and understandable language;
- creation of materials that are easily perceived by all categories of citizens.
Use of such approaches will allow citizens to receive necessary information faster, use tax services more efficiently, and reduce number of errors and appeals.
Training was another step towards modern, open and accessible system of the taxpayer services.
