Local budgets received 132.8 billion UAH in the first quarter of 2026. This is 15% more than in the same period last year.
The biggest share of revenues is traditionally provided by the personal income tax – almost 76 billion UAH (+18.8 %).
Significant sources also remain:
- single tax – 21.8 billion UAH (+10.4%);
- property taxes – 14.6 billion UAH (+13.4%);
- and corporate income tax – 11.8 billion UAH (+3.6%).
Growth is also observed in individual payments. Tourist tax revenues increased by 23.6% and amounted to 82.2 million UAH. Communities received 23.4% more from rent for the subsoil use – 250.6 million UAH.
Positive dynamics are also demonstrated by the parking fee – 56.2 million UAH (+17.5%) and environmental tax – almost 400 million UAH (+4.8%).
These funds are the basis of financial capacity of communities. They ensure functioning of educational and medical institutions, finance social programs and restore infrastructure damaged by the war.
Timely and full tax payment directly impacts communities’ ability to support vital services and thrive. In times of the martial law, it is not just a matter of fiscal discipline, but also each taxpayer’s contribution to the state resilience and local support.
At the same time, work continues to improve tax administration quality: procedures are being simplified, digital services developed and interaction with the taxpayers is being strengthened, which contributes to increase in the level of voluntary payment.
