Nearly 25.5 thousand citizens who submitted property and income tax returns for 2018 to the tax authorities became participants of the Declaration campaign 2019. This was stated by the acting head of the Main Directorate of the STS in Vinnytsia region Oleh Martyniuk.
Amount of the declared income exceeded 1 billion 693.1 million UAH. At the same time, the amount of 41 million 359.1 thousand UAH of the personal income tax and 6 million 499.0 thousand UAH of the military levy were accrued for payment according to the results of Declaration campaign. Compared to last year these figures have increased nearly by 15.7 million UAH and 2.1 million UAH, respectively.
According to the acting head of the Main Directorate of the STS in Vinnytsia region, the most active declarants were citizens who inherited or gifted the property – 2 thousand citizens. Total amount of income declared by them amounted 179 million 311.2 thousand UAH. Another 652 citizens of Vinnytsia region declared more than 83 million 984.1 thousand UAH from the sale (exchange) of movable or immovable property. Income from lease of the real estate in the amount of 27 million 894.9 thousand UAH was declared by 459 citizens of the region. 261 individuals reported about the amount of 46 million 946.2 thousand UAH received abroad. Another 196 of our countrymen declared 38 million UAH of investment income.
Along with this, almost 8.4 thousand citizens used their right to obtain tax discount. After the recalculation for them, the amount of tax for the return from the budget was 16 million 479 thousand UAH.
Oleh Martyniuk reminded that that this year’s declaration of income by citizens for 2019 has already begun and will continue until the 1st of May 2020.
