Main Directorate of the STS in Mykolaiv region ensured more than 4.5 billion UAH of the personal income tax to the local budgets in December 2019.
It should be noted that Main Directorate of the STS in Mykolaiv region ensured positive dynamics of the PIT revenues to the local treasuries. Thus, the PIT revenues indicator in 2019 exceeds indicator of the corresponding period in 2018 by 745 million UAH or nearly 20%.
Personal income tax remains the most important source of revenues for local treasury and amounts for 67% from the total amount of revenues to local budgets.
Revenues growth to the local budgets, particularly of the personal income tax positively influences the socio-economic development of territorial communities of Mykolaiv region. Due to financial decentralization, local self-government authorities can independently ensure proper functioning of social institutions and solve issues regarding development of the territorial communities without allocating additional funds from the state budget.
