Acting head of the Main Directorate of the STS in Cherkasy region Dmytro Taran commented results of the Declaration campaign 2018.
So, the taxpayers submitted 35 326 declarations of property and income during 2019. Namely, 6861 individuals submitted declarations after the deadline (after the 1st of May 2019). Amount of 2 777.6 million UAH of income and 75.9 million UAH of taxes and fees obligations were declared.
Tax rebate was declared by 5 056 individuals, amount of 11.5 million UAH of the PIT will be reimbursed.
Dmytro Taran noted that starting from the 1st of January 2020 there is new ongoing Declaration campaign according to which some categories of citizens must submit an annual tax declaration on property and income (hereinafter referred to as the tax declaration) and determine tax liabilities of the personal income tax and military levy and / or are entitled to apply for the tax rebates.
He also reminded that annual tax declaration on property and income must be submitted until the 1st of May 2020 by citizens who received income, from which the personal income tax and military levy were not paid last year.
