Taxpayers of Odessa region transferred 14.7 billion UAH to the local budgets in 2019 – this is 23.2% or 2.8 billion UAH more than in 2018.
Out of the total amount of revenues, employers transferred 8.4 billion UAH of the personal income tax. This figure is 20.2% or 1.4 billion UAH higher than revenues in 2018.
Local budgets received 3.2 billion UAH of the property tax in 2019 – this is 35.7% or 0.9 billion UAH more than last year’s figures; also local budgets received 2.2 billion UAH of the single tax – this is 18.1% or 0.3 billion UAH more than in 2018.
Conscientious payment of taxes – is one of the main prerequisites for the economic development of territorial communities, and the increase in local treasury revenues last year has enabled the local authorities to transfer additional funds for financing infrastructure projects, implementing economic and social programs.
