Main Directorate of the STS in Chernihiv region reported that local budgets of all levels received nearly 5.9 billion UAH of taxes and fees in 2019.
Personal income tax occupied the biggest share of taxes as it was transferred in the amount of 3.7 billion UAH or 63.9%, of these 750.2 million UAH was transferred to the regional budget and rest to the budgets of united territorial communities and districts.
Property tax (land, real estate and premium cars) was ensured in the amount of 927.6 million UAH or 16% of revenues to budgets of territorial communities. Single tax on entrepreneurial activity was transferred in the amount of 784.2 million UAH or 13.4%.
Part of the remaining taxes and fees is 7% of the total revenues, namely: the income tax was transferred in the amount of 45.9 million UAH; rent for the use of natural resources - 150 million UAH; excise tax on sale of excisable products and fuel - 162 million UAH; license fees on the sale of alcohol beverages and tobacco products - 19.2 million UAH and environmental tax - 25.2 million UAH.
Traditionally, the share of revenues from institutions of public administration, education and health to the local budgets of the region remains high (1.461.4 million UAH or 24.9% of the total). Taxes paid by representatives of the agriculture sector were also transferred in large amounts (1.267.4 million UAH or 21.6%), industry (832 million UAH or14.2%).
Business entities that work in sphere of trade and catering transferred 441.9 million UAH (7.5% of the local budget revenues), transport sector - 356.4 million UAH (6.1%), forestry sector - 167.3 million UAH (2.8%), construction - 90.3 million UAH (1.5%).
