Acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Kharkiv region Artem Yefremov reported that local budgets received revenues in the amount of 754 million UAH of the personal income tax in January 2020. Compared to January 2019, revenues have increased by 58.4 million UAH.
PIT is the main source of local budget replenishment. In the structure of revenues, it occupies the position of leader - about 60% of the total amount of other taxes and fees. This tax is paid at the rate of 18% of wages.
Main Directorate of the STS in Kharkiv region pays employers’ attention to compliance with the requirements of the labor legislation: official registration of employees, timely payment of wages, preventing its payment in the “envelopes”.
Timeliness and completeness of filling the local budget is the key to the economic and social development of our region.
