Main Directorate of the STS in Chernihiv region reported that local budgets of all levels of Chernihiv region received 498.5 million UAH of taxes and fees in January 2020.
The biggest share in the total amount of paid taxes (58%) is the personal income tax which came in the amount of 289 million UAH, of these, almost 58 million UAH was transferred to the regional budget, the rest to the budgets of the united territorial communities and districts. Another 15.5% budgets revenues of territorial communities (77.4 million UAH) are ensured through the property tax (for land, real estate and transport). Single tax was transferred in the amount of 107.5 million UAH (21.6% of the total).
Share of the remaining taxes and fees is % of total income: the income tax transferred in the amount of 1 million UAH, rent for the use of natural resources - 8.6 million UAH, excise tax on sale of alcohol and tobacco products - 12.7 million UAH, license fees on sale of alcohol beverages and tobacco products - 1.3 million UAH.
Significant amounts of taxes in January 2020 were transferred by representatives of the agricultural sector - 132.6 million UAH or 26.6%. In total, 106.6 million UAH (21.4%) was transferred from public administration, education and health institutions and 63.1 million UAH (12.7%) was provided by industrial enterprises.
Business entities that carry out activity in the sphere of trade and catering transferred 34 million UAH (6.8% of local budget revenues), transport - 29.6 million UAH (5.9%), forestry - 8.9 million UAH (1.8 percent), construction - 7.6 million UAH (1.5 percent).
