Companies and entrepreneurs of Zaporizhzhia region paid 605 million UAH of the personal income tax in January 2020. Compared to 2019, the PIT payments have increased by 12%. This was reported by acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Zaporizhzhia region Ruslan Rachynskyi.
Out of the total amount of paid personal income tax, the state budget received 151 million 300 thousand UAH – this is 16.5 million UAH more than in 2019; local treasury received - 453 million 800 thousand UAH. This exceeded the last year’s revenues by 49 million UAH.
Particularly, the city budget of Zaporizhzhia received 194.2 million UAH of the personal income tax from the beginning of 2020; city budget of Energodar, Kamyansko-Dniprovskyi and Velikobilozerskyi districts received 85.5 million UAH; Melitopol city, Melitopolskyi and Veselivskyi districts – 44.7 million UAH; Berdyansk city, Berdyanskyi and Primorskyi districts – 32.2 million UAH, Vasylivskyi and Mykhailivskyi districts – 26.8 million UAH; Pologovskyi, Belmatskyi and Roziv districts – 17.5 million UAH, etc.
The biggest amounts of the PIT were paid by enterprises and institutions of electricity production, public administration, area of public order and security.
There are more than 77.000 taxpayers of the personal income tax in the region.
