Excisable goods turnover and taxation control department of the Main Directorate of the STS in Vinnytsia region reported that the excise tax revenues from sale of excisable goods by retailers have amounted 18 million 742.9 thousand UAH. Proven estimated base has been exceeded by 2 million 225.0 thousand UAH.
In addition, another 1 million 480.6 thousand UAH was ensured to the local budget from licensing of the retail sale of alcohol beverages and tobacco products in January 2020.
It should be added that at present there are 7405 licenses for the retail sale of alcohol beverages and tobacco products in the territory of Vinnytsia region and Vinnytsia city. Of these, 564 were issued during January 2020, including 306 for the retail sale of alcohol beverages and 258 for the retail sale of tobacco products.
At the same time, 116 licenses were suspended due to the late payment of regular payment and 69 licenses were canceled.
Department also reported that due to the implementation of organizational measures aimed to prevent violations in the sphere of turnover of alcohol beverages and tobacco products during January 2020, the indicative amount of financial sanctions for violations of the Law of Ukraine as of 19.12.1995 № 481/95-VR “On the state regulation of ethyl alcohol production and turnover of fruit, alcohol beverages and tobacco products” exceeded 2.4 million UAH. Specifically, 90.00 thousand UAH was charged for the sale of alcohol beverages at prices below the set minimum wholesale and retail prices; 68.0 thousand UAH for unlicensed sale; 6.8 thousand UAH for the sale of alcohol, low alcohol drinks and tobacco products to individuals under 18 years old. However, the biggest amount of financial sanctions was charged for the retail sale of fuel without a license – 2 million 250.0 thousand UAH.
