Real estate tax other than land is one of the payments that replenish local budgets. It is paid by individuals and legal entities who own residential and non-residential real estate. Tax rates are set by decisions of local governments.
Taxpayers of Ternopil region have paid 13 million 521.6 thousand UAH of the real estate tax other than land since the beginning of 2020. This exceeded expected revenues by 4.4 million UAH or 48.8%. Compared to the corresponding period of 2019, payment of the specified tax has increased by 3.3 million UAH or plus 31.7%.
Almost 93% of the real estate tax was paid by legal entities. They transferred 12 million 571.5 thousand UAH of payments to the local budgets – this is 2.8 million UAH more than in the corresponding period last year.
Individuals paid 950.1 thousand UAH of the tax which exceeded the corresponding revenues of 2019 by 424.1 thousand UAH and plus 63.8 thousand UAH to the expected revenues.
