Local budgets of Trans Carpathian region were enriched almost by 839 million UAH from tax payments during January-February 2020. This amount is 89.3 million UAH more than in the corresponding period of 2019. Specifically, this year’s local budget revenues of Trans Carpathian region have amounted more than 467 million UAH. Compared to February 2019, an increase of 42.6 million UAH has been ensured. This was reported by acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Trans Carpathian region Illia Matola.
According to him, the biggest share of revenues is the personal income tax which was transferred in the amount of 528 million UAH to the local treasury during first two months of 2020. Also, revenue leaders are the single tax which was transferred in the amount of 160.8 million UAH by business entities and land tax which was transferred in the amount of 69.2 million UAH to the local budgets of the region.
Specialists of the Main Directorate of the STS in Trans Carpathian region are convinced that in a tandem with high tax culture of regional business it became possible to fill local budgets with funds from the first months of the year, including revenues from official salaries of local residents and entrepreneurial activities that go to the development of cities and villages of the region.
