Payment of the military levy to the budget has increased by 17.9 million UAH or by 15.3% compared to January-February 2019.
Taxpayers of Odessa region transferred 73.3 million UAH of the military levy in February 2020 – this is 15.8% more than in February 2019.
It should be reminded that taxpayers of military levy are individuals – residents and non-residents who earn income in Ukraine. The levy’s rate is 1.5% of the amount of taxable income (in particular, it is wages, foreign income, amounts of remuneration and other payments accrued under the terms of a civil contract, passive income, including royalties, dividends, insurance payments and more).
Employers accruing income in favor of the taxpayer are responsible for calculating the military levy.
