More than 29.7 million UAH of taxes for the use of forest resources replenished the local treasury of Rivne region and 7.2 million UAH was transferred to the state budget of Ukraine. Total amount of revenues exceeded the last year’s figures for the corresponding period by 16.2 million UAH.
Acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Rivne region Vitalii Chui reported that rent payments, much of which are transferred to the local treasury, are of great importance for financing needs of the budgetary area of Rivne region, social programs and are directed to the restoration of natural resources. As follows, local authorities have the opportunity not only to use received revenues, particularly from the rent for the special use of forest resources for social development of their own territories but also to plan further activities, taking into account its stable budget revenues.
