2.3 million UAH of salary arrears has been paid since the beginning of 2020 in Ternopil region. This is a result of a systematic outreach work carried out by specialists of the Main Directorate of the STS in Ternopil region with the heads of enterprises who have admitted arrears in payment of salaries and tax payments. As a result, the budget received 1 million UAH of the personal income tax and 700 thousand UAH of the single social contribution.
Joint measures with local self-government authorities of the explanatory aim regarding the control over compliance with the payroll legislation were also applied to heads of 190 enterprises. As a result, 179 (94%) increased the level of salaries. Additional revenues amounted 1.3 million UAH of which 600 thousand UAH was the personal income tax and 700 thousand UAH – the single social contribution.
Taxpayers who paid salaries and other income to citizens in violation of the legislative requirements and other legislation (single social contribution) were undergoing control and verification measures. 14 audits of legal entities and 8 audits of private entrepreneurs have been conducted since the beginning of the year. Violators were charged with 900 thousand UAH of taxes and fees (sanctions and penalties), including 500 thousand UAH of the personal income tax, 200 thousand UAH of the single social contribution and 100 thousand UAH of the military levy.
Additional employment relations with 6359 employees were registered due active outreach work in February 2020.
