Taxpayers of Poltava city and region transferred 83.7 million UAH to the state budget during 2 months of 2020 (without taking into account revenues of large enterprises registered at the Large taxpayers office of the STS). Main Directorate of the STS in Poltava region reported that monthly deduction of the military levy is more than 40 million UAH.
The biggest sums were transferred from taxpayers registered in directorate in Poltava – more than 33 million UAH and directorate in Kremenchug – almost 20 million UAH.
It should be reminded that the tax rate is 1.5% from the accrued income. For the most part, it is withheld and paid by the employers who conduct the payroll and tax agents. In case of receiving other income (including foreign ones) from which the tax has not been paid, the taxpayer is responsible for its transfer.
