Local budgets of Volyn region received 1 billion 175 million UAH of payments administered by the Main Directorate of the STS in Volyn region during the 1st quarter of 2020.
Thus, amount of received community funds exceeds the figures of 2019 by 130.6 million UAH.
“Positive dynamics of tax revenues to the local budgets based on results of the 1st quarter of 2020 mean that now communities have the opportunity to finance the most pressing social and economic issues with received funds. Taking into account the fact that country needs coordinated and timely steps to prevent the spread of coronavirus pandemic – payment of taxes is of utmost importance for each of us” – stated acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Volyn region Oleh Hyrykovych.
Also, Main Directorate of the STS in Volyn region asks business representatives and citizens to remain disciplined taxpayers and asks heads of the territorial communities to keep analyzing possible additional budgetary reserves.
“State has legally supported business representatives who find it difficult or impossible to conduct entrepreneurial activity during quarantine. But those taxpayers who work must comply with their tax obligations in a timely manner. State security, health and life of our citizens depend on our responsible position”– summarized Oleh Hyrykovych.
