Tax service in Zaporizhzhia region has already received 14058 income declarations for 2019 during the 1st quarter of 2020. Of these, 2350 were declarations for the tax rebate and 11 708 were declarations with tax liabilities.
Acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Zaporizhzhia region Petro Filimonov stated that residents of Zaporizhzhia declared total income of more than 500 million UAH. And as a result of the declaration, they have to pay 34 million 400 thousand UAH of the personal income tax and almost 5 million UAH of the military levy.
There are already 33 millionaires among this year’s declarants – these citizens reported income that exceeded 1 million UAH in 2019. From the declared amount 4 million 500 thousand UAH of the personal income tax and 377 thousand UAH of the military levy will be paid to the budget.
The most active declarants are residents of Zaporizhzhia who in 2019 received income from the sale of agricultural products grown on their own plots over 2 ha. They submitted 9333 declarations. The second place is occupied by the heirs (808), in the third place are the residents of the region who sold movable property in 2019 (408).
Declaration campaign continues due to the “quarantine” legislation changes. Therefore, citizens and individuals pursuing an independent professional activity are entitled to submit declaration for 2019 before the 1st of July 2020. The last day of submission is 30.06.2020. Tax liability specified in declarations must be paid by the 1st of October 2020.
