Personal income tax is the main budget-forming tax. The gradual increase in revenues of this tax is very important for the local budget of Dnipropetrovsk region. In a country where coronavirus pandemic measures are being implemented, funds coming to the local budget of the region are a lever for this fight.
According to the results of the 1st quarter of 2020, taxpayers transferred 3 billion 950.1 million UAH of the personal income tax to the local budgets which is 642.79 million UAH more than during the corresponding period in 2019.
“Payment of personal income tax is a guarantee of the welfare of the country” – commented Head of Taxes and fees department of the Main Directorate of the STS in Dnipropetrovsk region Viktoriia Kalinohorska.
