Local budget received more than 1.2 billion UAH of taxes and fees in Trans Carpathian region

Local budget of Trans Carpathian region received nearly 1 billion 202 million UAH during the 1st quarter of 2020 – which is 107.6 million UAH or 109.8% more than during the same period in 2019.

According to statistics of the Main Directorate of the STS in Trans Carpathian region, main taxes that filled the regional budget during the 1st quarter of 2020 were: the personal income tax, single tax, land tax and excise tax on the sale of excisable products by business entities.

It is known that the basis of local budgets in Trans Carpathian region is the personal income tax. This year, almost 804 million UAH was transferred during the specified period. The PIT revenues have increased by 65.7 million UAH comparing to January-March 2019.

Next among the leaders of tax revenues to local treasuries is the single tax. During 3 months of 2020, it was transferred in the amount of more than 186.6 million UAH. The revenues growth is 19.7 million comparing to 2019.

The third tax is the fee for owning or using land. Last year, payers contributed almost 95 million UAH to the local budgets of Trans Carpathian region during the 1st quarter, this year it is almost 103 million UAH.

The excise tax on sale of excisable products by the retail trade entities occupies fourth place. Revenues amounted more than 43.2 million UAH from the beginning of 2020.

It should be reminded that the day before, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a number of Laws of Ukraine amending the Tax Code of Ukraine to support taxpayers for the period of measures aimed at preventing the occurrence and spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID - 19).
