Due to the taxpayers’ honesty, high-quality administration of tax payments during January-April 2020 weighty payments were ensured to the budget. This was reported by acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Mykolaiv region Dmytro Prokofiev.
Thus, 2.1 billion UAH was transferred to the state budget during January-April 2020; local treasuries were replenished by more than 2.1 billion UAH. In total, the budgets of all levels received almost 4.3 billion UAH during 4 months of 2020.
It should be noted that the main taxes that provide revenues to the state budget are the value added tax and income tax, which were transferred in the amount of 857 million UAH and more than 591 million UAH, respectively during January-April 2020. In addition, the state budget received significant revenues from the payment of military levy – 135 million UAH.
“STS of Mykolaiv region will continue to take effective measures to create equal competition conditions for business representatives, improve service, prevent the use of tax evasion schemes, and strengthen the counteraction against the shadow economy” – stated Dmytro Prokofiev.
