Main Directorate of the STS in Rivne region reported that 3727 citizens submitted property and income tax declarations for 2019 to the State Tax Service of Rivne region as of 01.04.2020. Of these, 1722 were obliged to submit the declaration. Total amount of declared income amounted 490 million UAH.
Amount of tax liabilities from the personal income tax determined by the declarants independently is 7 million UAH and 1.5 million UAH from the military levy.
Income in excess of 1 million UAH was declared by 15 residents of the region.
1184 citizens used the right to a tax rebate during this period. 3.2 million UAH will be returned to them from the budget.
Please note that changes prescribed by the Law of Ukraine as of 17.03.2020 № 533-IX “On amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine and other laws of Ukraine on support taxpayers for the duration of measures aimed to prevent the occurrence and spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19)” to the Tax Code of Ukraine (hereinafter – the TCU), provides that the annual property and income declaration for 2019, defined by Article 179 of the TCU must be submitted by 01.07. 2020, excepting cases provided in Section IV of the TCU when such declaration can be submitted later than this period. Individual is obliged to independently pay the amount of tax liability specified in submitted annual property and income declaration for 2019 by 01.10.2020.
At the same time, it should be reminded that the tax legislation prescribes the possibility to submit the tax declaration to the controlling body by electronic means in electronic form in compliance with the requirements of the laws on electronic document flow through the Electronic cabinet: https://cabinet.tax.gov.ua/. Thus, you can report about last year’s income remotely, without leaving home.
