Land payment is one of important sources of filling the local treasuries of Mykolayiv region.
According to acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Mykolaiv region Dmytro Prokofiev, the Tax service of Mykolaiv region pays considerable attention to effective administration of the land tax and land rent, conducts active work on reconciliations with landowners, land users, tenants on the available land areas and the use of benefits.
As a result of this work during January – April 2020, the Main Directorate of the STS in Mykolaiv region transferred the land tax and rent in the amount of 189.1 million UAH to local budgets. Specifically, business entities – legal entities transferred the land tax and rent in the amount of 165.3 million UAH to local budgets; individuals and citizens who independently cultivate land plots transferred 23.8 million UAH.
