Main Directorate of the STS in Poltava region reported that 12148 citizens submitted property and income tax declarations for 2019 as of 01.05.2020. Of these, 10525 citizens were obliged to submit declaration.
Total amount of declared income amounted more than 869.9 million UAH. The self-determined amount of personal income tax liabilities is more than 25 million UAH. Self-determined tax liabilities of military levy amounted almost 3.5 million UAH.
Most declarations, namely 7088, were submitted by citizens from the sale of agricultural products. Amount of income declared by them is 49.5 million UAH; amount of payable personal income tax is almost 8.7 million UAH.
At present, 66 citizens of the region declared income exceeding 1 million UAH.
It should be reminded that the Law of Ukraine as of 17.03.2020 № 533-IX “On amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine and other laws of Ukraine on support taxpayers for the duration of measures aimed to prevent the occurrence and spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19)” amended the Tax code of Ukraine (hereinafter – the TCU) and provided that the annual property and income declaration for 2019, defined by Article 179 of the TCU, is submitted by July 1, 2020 excepting cases in Section IV of the TCU, when such declaration can be submitted later than this period. An individual is obliged to pay the amount of tax liability specified in the annual property and income declaration for 2019 submitted by him / her by October 1, 2020.
Herewith, please note that the tax legislation provides the possibility to submit tax declaration to the controlling body by electronic means in electronic form in compliance with the requirements of the laws on electronic document flow through the Electronic cabinet: https://cabinet.tax.gov.ua/. As follows, it is not needed to leave home to submit tax declaration.
