Taxpayers of Luhansk region are quite responsible towards calculation and payment of military levy aimed at protecting the state sovereignty, guarantees the stability and strengthening of Ukrainian economic security.
Main Directorate of the STS in Luhansk region informed that the military levy’s revenues amounted 75.3 million UAH during January – April 2020. This is 12 million UAH or 18.9% more than revenues duirng January – April 2019.
Please note that the military levy was introduced in August 2014 with 1.5% rate on the taxation object. Payers of the military levy are individuals – residents and non-residents who receive income in Ukraine. Employers who accrue income in the form of wages in the taxpayer’s favor are responsible for accrual of the military levy to the budget.
