Tax debt department of the Main Directorate of the STS in Kirovohrad region reported that revenues due to measures aimed at the tax debt repayment to the consolidated budget amounted 41.4 million UAH from the beginning of 2020, including 29 million UAH to the state budget and 12.4 million UAH to the local budget. Such revenues were ensured through effective cooperation with the taxpayers, as well as through measures taken by the State Tax Service, such as charging of debtor’s cash and non-cash funds in the amount of 9.2 million UAH, as well as the sale of property in the amount of 0.3 million UAH.
Total amount of the tax debt as of 01.05.2020 to the budgets of all levels in Kirovohrad region amounted 1739.6 million UAH, of which to the state budget – 1437.9 million UAH. At the same time, the debt of enterprises in respect of which bankruptcy proceedings have been initiated amounted 210.5 million UAH or 12.1% of the total debt amount.
In order to promptly and fully repay debts from taxes and fees by the business entities, the specialists of the regional Tax service take all measures provided by applicable legislation. Specifically, the regional tax authorities recorded in tax lien the property of debtors in the amount of 1.8 million UAH during January-April 2020.
In addition, tax specialists of the Main Directorate of the STS in Kirovohrad region reduced the debt the payment from the single social contribution by 15.3 million UAH. In general, as of 01.05.2020, the debt from the single social contribution amounted to 235.5 million UAH.
Payment of the single social contribution is protection of the employees’ rights to receive insurance benefits in the future. Therefore, dishonest taxpayers who do not pay the single social contribution on time and in full amount allow existence of the tax debt and deprive employees of this right.
