Local budgets of all levels of Chernihiv region received more than 1.9 billion UAH of taxes and fees during January-April 2020. The increase during the same period in 2019 was 7.9% (+ 139.7 million UAH).
The biggest share in the total amount of paid taxes (63.7%) is occupied by the personal income tax, which was received in the amount of more than 1.2 billion UAH, of which 242.8 million UAH was transferred to the regional budget, the rest - to budgets of the united territorial communities and districts.
Property tax (for land plots, residential and non-residential real estate, as well as premium cars) was ensured in the amount of another 258.9 million UAH (13.6% of the budget revenues of territorial communities). The single tax on entrepreneurial activity was received in the amount of 289.6 million UAH (15.2% of the total amount).
Part of the remaining taxes and fees is 7.5% of the following revenues: income tax – 19 million UAH, rent for the use of natural resources – 54.7 million UAH, excise tax on the sale of excisable products and fuel – 56.1 million UAH, license fees for the sale of alcohol beverages and tobacco products – 5 million UAH and environmental tax – 6.1 million UAH.
Fourth part of revenues to local budgets from taxes was provided by public administration, education and health care institutions (25.8% of the total amount or 492.1 million UAH). Agricultural representatives also paid significant taxes (19.5% or 372 million UAH) and industry (14.7% or 279.5 million UAH).
Business entities operating in the sphere of trade and catering transferred 149.3 million UAH (7.8% of local budget revenues); transport – 106.3 million UAH (5.6%); forestry –58 million UAH (3.0%) and construction – 30 million UAH (1.6%).
