Residents of Kherson region transferred nearly half a billion UAH of the VAT to the state budget

Taxpayers of Kherson region paid 494 million UAH of the value added tax to the state budget on goods, works and services produced in Ukraine during 4 months of 2020. Specified amount is 61.7 million UAH or 14% more comparing to 2019. Information was provided by specialists of the Tax Monitoring Department of the Main Directorate of the State Tax Service in Kherson region, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol city.

Business entities – legal entities of Kherson city that produce products with a high level of value added tax, transferred to the budget in the amount of 225 million UAH or 45% of total VAT revenues. Production enterprises of Kakhovka district and Nova Kakhovka paid 57.6 million UAH and 36.2 million UAH of the VAT to the state budget, respectively.

In general, the introduction of service tax innovations makes the process of the VAT accrual, payment and budgetary reimbursement of funds to business entities as transparent and timely as possible. Electronic communication format with the taxpayers really protects interests of legal business and creates an equal competitive level for entrepreneurial activity.
